		Turakina Maori Girls' College 2006 Culture Night DVD Made by the staff using school equipment
		The CD is called "Turakina Maori Girls College - A compilation of Maori waiata based on Mana Maori". It includes well known favourites such as Whakaaria Mai, Kotiro Maori, Tama Ngakau and the National Anthem, as well as some school favourites It concludes with a prayer by the college chaplain, Rev Peka Tautau.

		The book - "A World Awakens: Te Puawai o te Ao" by Nick Thomson, is a collection of Maori myths and legends retold in a style reminiscent of Longfellows Hiawatha. It's a really great read.
